Border crossing Chile into Argentina and onto ferry crossing at the Magellan Straits where a seredipitous moment happens. Ross starts chatting to a chap with an English accent.and askes where he has come from in the Uk?  He replies ‘Cornwall’! Instant recognition between them and igt is Chris Barton who sailed with Ross in Cornwall from 1984 to 1987. I am taking photos of the ferry with Susie ( Red Car)  to hear my name being called by someone running down the road unrecognisable at that moment….Polly Barton , Chris’s wife)  A quick exchange as we were travelling in opposite directions..us on a ferry and they on a bus. Serendipitous as I said!
